Agree on the whiff of anti-Americanism - agreed on the George Bush Jr point from Charlotte. I do not entirely agree with David on the Brexit point. Its not exactly the same.

I agree with Charlotte on the Brexit Party. They nearly won it. I'd add, im no fan of the Brexit Party, but I think its in part a symptom of broken politics.

As someone who used to be a Tory member and the growth of Islamophobia on the right, I do think its a growing issue and Sajid Javid is right to call for an investigation. Of course its nowhere at Labour's stage yet, but I worry its getting there. I do get the whataboutery, but I worry that too many are selective about tackling prejudice. Too many people don't fight antisemitism, Islamophobia and Islamism.

The IHRA definition from me is the most concerning. Its an entrenched view from the antisemitic sewer that Labour mixes in. The galling thing of seeing Labour MPs like Tom Watson MP and Keir Starmer there etc who say they gave a shit about antisemitism showed it meant little. I felt duped as I trusted people.

Agree totally on the grimmess! Good from David Hirsh to remind us of the FB post that Lisa Forbes, the now Labour MP liked a post at the time of the terrible Christchurch Terrorist attack saying Theresa May has a 'Zionist Slavemaster agenda'. The point Charlotte makes you have to see this sort of stuff you have to mix in this antisemitic sewer to see it. The ISIS CIA post Lisa Forbes said she enjoys reading is a BS conspiracy theory and conspiracy theories including the ISIS Mossad line is pushed by antisemites. That any MP positively comments on this is incredibly worrying. I think its important that Charlotte and David are analysing clearly the issue of Lisa Forbes. Very good on them for detailing the matter.
